Congratulation to our Alumnus Dr.-Ing. Manu Manuel for his PhD defense on December 13, 2023.

The title of his thesis was "Design Space Exploration for Approximate Image Processing on FPGAs". In his thesis, he proposed and investigated new multi-criteria optimization methods to explore the design space of approximate image processing, thus identifying Pareto-optimal design points for a trade-off between image quality and power consumption.
