The paper titled "LCS-Based Automatic Configuration of Approximate Computing Parameters for FPGA System Designs" authored by Simon Conrady, Arne Kreddig, Manu Manuel and Walter Stechele has been accepted for publication at the International Workshop on Learning Classifier Systems (IWLCS).

The paper addresses the field of approximate computing and trade-offs of accuracy against computational resources in FPGA. The authors propose to transfer concepts from evolutionary machine learning to optimize approximation parameters. The paper presents work in progress towards further static and dynamic optimization.

The IWLCS workshop takes place on July 13-17, 2019, in Prague, Czech Republic. More information on this workshop can be found under https://iwlcs.organic-computing.de/.
