Biography
I am a senior postdoc in the dynamic research group of Antonia Wachter-Zeh at the Institute for Communications Engineering at TUM.
My main research interest, continuing from my PhD studies, lies in the applications of algebraic function fields in a broad sense — ranging from algebraic coding theory to lattices.
After completing my PhD under the supervision of Cem Güneri at Sabancı University, I held postdoctoral positions within the Applied Algebra group led by Joachim Rosenthal at the University of Zurich (3 years) and the Algebra, Number Theory and Applications group led by Camilla Hollanti at Aalto University (1.5 years).
Alongside my postdoc position at TUM, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science and Statistics at the University of Bern, under the supervision of Lutz Dümbgen, with a particular focus on isotonic distributional regression.
I am also an enthusiastic teacher with a growing interest in how proof assistants, such as the Lean Theorem Prover, can support undergraduate mathematics education.
