Isogenies: The basics, some applications, and nothing in between

Abstract:
In this talk I hope to give a gentle introduction to contemporary isogeny-based cryptography with a focus on the fundamental ideas on one hand and on some prominent applications on the other, while skipping many of the technical details sitting between the two.
Biography:
PhD student in cryptology at TU Eindhoven. Postdoc at Academia Sinica, Taipei. Assistant professor at TU München.
