Every year, the student council of the TUM Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering awards prizes to lecturers who went above and beyond their duty as teachers and excelled at their work. This year, Thomas Wiegart will receive the Teaching Assistant Award at the "Tag der Fakultät" on November 13th for giving the tutorials of our Digital Communications course in the 4th semester. The new book Quantum Communication Networks (part of the Springer series: Foundations in Signal Processing, Communications and Networking), is currently in press. The book by authors R. Bassoli, H.
