Biography
Serdar Caglar received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from METU (Ankara, Türkiye) in 2022. He earned his M.Sc. in Communications Engineering from Technical University of Munich in 2025. Following industry experience in digital signal processing and machine learning for communication applications, he joined the Chair of Media Technology (LMT) as a research associate. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D., with research focused on low-complexity, learning-based algorithms for image and video compression.
