- Internet Measurements and Internet Architecture
- Low-end Internet (measurements and improvements) in terms of throughput, latency and/or packet loss
- Both cellular and fixed broadband networks, sometimes LEO satellite networks
- Transport Protocols, Congestion Control
- QUIC but also old-school TCP+TLS
- Sometimes real-time protocols like WebRTC
- Web and Decentralization
- Web performance and security (website fingerprinting) and interactions with the transport and network layers
