We develop design automation solutions for emerging technologies that demonstrate the potential of large-scale integration and call for the support of design automation. Our research covers scheduling, binding, routing, placement, reliability, and testing.
The emerging technologies that we have worked on include:
Design automation for microfluidics
Design automation for optical networks-on-chip
Design automation for printed electronics
Funded projects in the direction of design automation for microfluidics:
- "Physical Design for Microfluidic Large-Scale Integration with Partitioning and Floorplanning"
DFG project, since 2023 - "Design and Integration of Test Module for Microfluidic Large-Scale Integration (mLSI)"
DFG project, since 2021
Funded projects in the direction of design automation for optical networks-on-chip:
- "Bandwidth Maximization and Allocation for Wavelength-Routed Optical Networks-on-Chip (WRONoC)"
DFG project, since 2023 - "Combining Topology Synthesis and Physical Design for Wavelength-Routed Optical Networks-on-Chip (WRONoC) — Design Automation Using Physical Layout Templates"
DFG project, since 2020
