Exzellenzcluster CASA

In dem CASA Exzellenzcluster interessieren wir uns für die Informationstheoretische Modellierung, Analyse und Optimierung von kryptographischen Basisaufgaben in zukünftigen Kommunikations- und Datenverarbeitungsnetzen.
Dabei spielt die genaue Modellierung von realen Kommunikationskanälen und Kommunikationsszenarien eine zentrale Rolle.

Unser Blick richtet sich hier besonders auf:

  • operationell begründete informationstheoretische Sicherheitsmaße wie zum Beispiel semantic security
  • wiretap Kanäle mit und ohne Angreifer
  • bit commitment, oblivious transfer über echte Kommunikationskanäle und reale Kommunkationsaufgaben
