On April 29th, Dr.-Ing. Laith Alkurdi defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Intention Recognition in Dynamic Field Theory". Congratulations!
This was already the second PhD defense this year. On February 28th, Dr.-Ing. Annemarie Turnwald successfully completed her PhD studies.
In the past year 2018, we celebrated four PhD titles at LSR. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Kersting defended his PhD Thesis in April. Dr.-Ing. Christian Landsiedel followed in June, and Dr.-Ing. Philine Meister (née Donner) in September. Dr.-Ing. Özgür Ögüz successfully passed his PhD defense in October 2018. Dr.-Ing. Ögüz is now employed as a PostDoc at the Institute for Parallel and Distributed Systems, University of Stuttgart.
