We develop design automation solutions for emerging technologies that demonstrate the potential of large-scale integration and call for the support of design automation. Our research covers scheduling, binding, routing, placement, reliability, and testing.

The emerging technologies that we have worked on include:

Design Automation for Microfluidics

Design Automation for Optical Networks-on-Chip

Design Automation for Novel Microfabrication

Students that performed well in the courses Mixed Integer Programming and Graph Algorithms for Engineering Problems and Electronic Design Automation are especially encouraged to apply for research opportunities.
