Victor Schulte joined the Cyber-Physical Systems Group under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Althoff in July 2025. He received his bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University. This was followed by his master's degree in Automation Engineering also at RWTH Aachen University. During his master's he completed a semester abroad at Iowa State University in the US focusing on machine learning and mathematical optimization. Victor wrote his master's thesis as a visiting researcher in Prof. Schweidtmanns group at TU Delft.
His research focuses on combining methods from control theory and machine learning to achieve optimal control of cyber-physical systems.
I am always looking for motivated students who are interested in working in my research area. If you would like to write your thesis, work on a practical project, or discuss your own research idea, please send me an email with your CV and transcripts attached.
