Johann-Philipp-Reis Prize 2023 awarded to Antonia Wachter-Zeh

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Antonia Wachter-Zeh has been honored with the Johann-Philipp-Reis prize in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the fields of cryptography and coding theory.

Professor Dr.-Ing. Antonia Wachter-Zeh, a leading researcher in coding theory and cryptography, was awarded the 2023 Johann-Philipp-Reis Prize. The prize is sponsored by the Municipality Gelnhausen, the Municipality Friedrichsdorf, Deutsche Telekom AG, and VDE, and recognizes Antonia's pioneering work in security for future telecommunications and ensuring reliable storage for rapidly growing data.
