I research Distributed Systems. I was at Huawei Research after moving from the Information Theory Group at Freie Universität Berlin. I studied Information Technology at the Technische Universität Berlin and Sorbonne Université. Before I moved to Europe, I worked as a systems engineer at the Ministry of Telecommunications, bridging policies and measurements for service provision. I spent some time at the Galápagos islands for satellite connectivity. Then, I moved to the Central Bank of Ecuador to work on financial inclusion through the first Central Bank Digital Currency (Dinero Electrónico) after obtaining an electronics engineering degree.
