About
Aditya Shirwatkar is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems (RBCCPS) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, which he began in August 2022. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. His research focuses on safe, contact-rich legged locomotion, leveraging techniques from model predictive control and reinforcement learning. His previous work explored the intersection of optimal control and robot learning for dynamic legged robots.
