Elham Daneshmand is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at McGill University, affiliated with the Mobile Robotics Lab (MRL) at McGill and the Robotics and Embodied AI Lab (REAL) at Université de Montréal. Previously, she was a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, where she worked on legged locomotion control using model predictive control and optimal control. She received her BSc in Computer Science from Tehran Polytechnic (Amirkabir University of Technology). Her research focuses on safe and transferable reinforcement learning for robotics.
