Jens Volker Rüppel has been a doctoral candidate at the "Perception for Intelligent Systems" chair since April 2025. He obtained his M.Sc. in Human Factors at TU Chemnitz in 2025 with a special focus on usability, artificial intelligence and robotics and his B.Sc. in Psychology at the FernUniversität in Hagen in 2021. Given his interdisplinary background, his research interests focus on the intersection between humans and robots, particularly in the areas of human-robot interaction, intent recognition and multimodal communication interfaces.
