Curriculum Vitae
Hello! I am Qian Huang, a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Real-time Systems, starting in March 2025.
My passion for robotics was ignited during my undergraduate years when I served as the captain of a Robomaster team. I had the honor of leading my team to win two consecutive national championships. This experience not only gave me a deep understanding of teamwork and project leadership but also equipped me with full-stack robotics skills, spanning mechanical design, electronic control, and algorithm development.https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Pq4y1N7PP/?vd_source=14e152e1e3feef2b204ca1eede5b18bd
To tackle the real-world challenges of deploying robots, my Master's research at Sun Yat-sen University (advised by Prof. Gang Chen) focused on dedicated hardware accelerators for embedded SLAM. I dedicated my efforts to solving the critical problem of deploying practical and robust visual SLAM systems on edge devices with strict constraints on power consumption, volume, and size.
Bringing together the hands-on skills forged in competition and the research depth gained during my Master's, I aim to further advance my expertise in robotics during my PhD. My goal is to develop complete, cutting-edge robotic systems that can truly push the frontiers of technology. I am enthusiastic about all forms of academic collaboration and welcome fellow students who share a pure passion for robotics to connect with me. Let's build more interesting and impactful robotic systems together!
