Curiculum Vitae
Erik Leo Haß joined the Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Real-Time Systems at TUM in May 2025 as a research assistant. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Automotive Software Engineering from the Technical University of Chemnitz. During his studies, he worked on various projects involving autonomous vehicle coordination at intelligent crossroads, Wireless Sensing and multi-agent systems in the field of LLMs. His Bachelor's thesis focused on optimizing vehicle arrangements at intersections to minimize energy consumption, while his Master's thesis explored multi-agent frameworks using LLMs to generate simulation scenarios from natural language.
At TU Chemnitz, he contributed to research in wireless sensing through the WiSe4Car project, developing techniques for human identification inside vehicles using WiFi signals. His current research at TUM centers on multi-modal sensor fusion and real-time perception for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) applications, with a focus on enabling natural and context-aware communication between vehicles and their environment.
