Wolfgang Hillen Summer School on 'Modeling and Design of Next Generation Self-X MPSoC Platforms' by LIS@TUM and CECS@UCI

Aktuelles |

Together with our project partners Fadi Kurdahi and Nikil Dutt as well as their teams we are hosting this year's Wolfgang Hillen Summer School on 'Modeling and Design of Next Generation Self-X MPSoC Platforms' at UC Irvine, CA, USA. It will take place from July 27 till 31, 2020.

In our summer school we want to share the findings of our project 'Information Processing Factory (IPF)' in an interactive and practical manner. IPF aims to show how self-X properties (e.g. self-adaptivity, self-awareness, self-organization, self-healing) can be achieved across multiple abstraction levels of a Multi-Processor System-on-Chip (MPSoC) platform. The considered application scenario comprises mixed-critical tasks, i.e. safetey-critcal tasks coexist with best-effort workloads on the same platform.

We are seeking for highly motivated students from various degree programs to join in. Backed on their experience, candidates should bring in own ideas on how self-X properties can be profitably applied.

The summer school is supported by the Bavaria California Technology Center (BaCaTeC). Further details are availiable at BaCaTeC.
