The Microelectronics Olympiad is organized annually under the high patronage of the Prime Minister of Armenia, and sponsored by Synopsys. It covers design, methodology and EDA of integrated circuits and systems.
Florin, who conducted his master thesis project at the TUM-EDA institute and now is a doctoral candidate at TUM-EDA, was selected in a TUM internal competition to represent TUM at the Olympiad.
