The Periscope Tuning Framework was presented in a joint VI-HPS tutorial at ISC 2015 in Frankfurt. Tutorial 06: Hands-on Practical Hybrid Parallel Application Performance Engineering gave an overview of the joint Score-P monitoring infrastructure of the VI-HPS, the performance analysis tools Scalasca, Tau, Vampir, and the Periscope Tuning Framework (PTF). The tutorial was well attended and received excellent feedback. The hands-on parts were run at Stampede, the Xeon Phi based supercomputer at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC).
