Prof. Barton P. Miller is Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor, Amar & Belinder Sohi Professor in Computer Sciences University of Wisconsin, Madison and Chief Scientist, DHS Software Assurance Marketplace (SWAMP) Research Facility.

He received his B.A. degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1977, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1980 and 1984. Professor Miller is a Fellow of the ACM.

Prof. Elisa Heymann is Associate Professor in the Computer Architecture and Operating Systems Department at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. She co-directs the MIST software vulnerability assessment project in collaboration with her colleagues at the University of Wisconsin, where she is a Senior Scientist.
