Curriculum Vitae

Julia studied bioengineering (concentration in biosensors and electronic devices) at Oakland University in Michigan, USA. After graduation in 2018, she worked for several years as a systems engineer in the automotive industry. As a part of an international rotational program, she worked in both the US and Germany, on projects in the areas of wearable device integration, smart city development, and physiological data acquision. Julia joined the Elite Master of Science in Neuroengineering program at TUM in 2020, and completed her masters thesis in February 2023 with Neuroengineering Materials group. She recently began a PhD with the Center for Digital Technology Management (CDTM). Julia enjoys cooking, philosophy, and exploring the intersection of technology and politics.
