Biographie

Zishan Li works as an external research PhD candidate at the Chair of Media Technology (LMT) of Technical University of Munich, in conjunction with Huawei Munich Research Center, Germany.

Education:

• Doctoral candidate in the field of learned 2D and 3D video compression since October 2025.
• Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, School of Computation, Information and Technology, Technical University of Munich, 2021 - 2025.
• Bachelor of Science in Electronic Information Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology, Beijing University of Technology, 2016 – 2020.

Forschung

Her research focuses on video compression techniques that integrate both 2D and 3D computer vision, including scene reconstruction, motion estimation, super resolution, etc. She is involved in developments of video coding standards in JVET.
