We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled student to support us in updating and developing the Master’s course “Project Lab Human Activity Understanding” in terms of both content and tools. As a Working Student and key member of our teaching team, you will contribute to the development and evaluation of the full pipeline of multisensory data collection, processing, and analysis within the lab environment.
In this role, you will work closely with the teaching team to identify and implement improvements. Your contributions will directly impact the lecture for the upcoming semesters and ensure the course’s longevity.

Responsibilities:
- Researching, updating, and supplementing the lecture content and exercises on data collection, processing, and analysis with contemporary methods
- Migrating the teaching environment from ROS1 to ROS2 and updating the lab computers from Ubuntu 20 to Ubuntu 24 to ensure a modern and stable infrastructure
- Working closely with the supervising teaching staff, documenting, testing, and validating all changes made in a traceable manner for future iterations of the course
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in the School of CIT
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Good knowledge of ROS
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge and interest in CV or HAU is nice to have
