PhD at the Institute for Cognitive Systems, TUM
My PhD research focused on human-centered multi-robot coordination and was part of subproject R01 of the DFG Collaborative Research Center EASE (Everyday Activity Science and Engineering). I investigated causal intervention learning and multi-robot teleoperation to build scalable systems that respect operator needs, enable effective coordination of multiple robots, and lay the groundwork for incremental automation. I led the Cognitive Engineering team, taught courses on humanoid robotics, and supervised several master theses.
My broader interest is robotics that derives from, and is built for, the human. I want to understand how people perceive, learn and act, and use that insight to design robots people can work with effectively.
