Short biography
I received my B.Sc. Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnical University of Madrid in 2021 and earned my M. Sc. Neuroengineering at the Technical University of Munich in 2024.
My Master's Thesis "Investigating the Effect of Sensory Feedback Modality on Neural Correlates of Sense of Agency" explored the effects of vibrotactile feedback on Sense of Agency during lower limb movements.
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate working within the Human Cognition in Neuroengineering IAS group, supervised by Dr. Agnieszka Wykowska and Prof. Dr. Gordon Cheng, with a focus on continuous neural measures of Sense of Agency to investigate learning, agency and embodiment during human-robot interaction and assistance.
Interests
- Computational and neural mechanisms underlying the sense of agency
- The role of agency in motor learning and adaptation, particularly in assistive contexts
- Multimodal experimental design combining EEG, sensory feedback, and behavioral methods
- Ecologically valid paradigms for studying agency
- Human-Centered Neurorehabilitation
