From March 6-8, doctoral students and professors from the TUM chairs LNT, LÜT, LTI, and from the EPFL School of Computer and Communication Sciences held a "Joint Conference on Communications and Coding" workshop (informally "Coding & Skiing" workshop). On February 21, 2013, Professor Martin Bossert and several of his scientific staff from Ulm University visited the LNT for a workshop on Coding. The workshop focus was primarily algebraic coding, especially Reed-Solomon codes and Gabidulin codes, but LDPC codes were also considered. The workshop program and talks are listed here. [read more]
