Recognitions for outstanding dissertation from Dr. Maximilian Egger
Dr. Maximilian Egger has received two prestigious awards for his dissertation on "Communication-Efficient Distributed Learning
with Provable Robustness and Privacy Guarantees": the Dimitris N. Chorafas Prize, which recognizes early-career researchers for doctoral work of exceptionally high scientific quality, and the VDE Bayern Award 2026, which honors outstanding theses from Bavarian universities in technical and scientific fields. The VDE Bayern Award will be presented at the annual VDE Bayern Abend.
