The IEEE International Conference on Communications 2026 took place in Glasgow last week. The Chair of Communication Networks was represented by our colleagues Benedikt Baier, Hansini Vijayaraghavan, and Alexander Wietfeld.
In the exhibition area, our team supported the 6G-life project booth, together with partners from Technische Universität Dresden, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space.
Our contributions at ICC 2026 covered quantum computing and networking, connected robotics, analog computing, and molecular communication:
Benedikt Baier, Leo Sünkel, and Wolfgang Kellerer
“Simulation of Distributed Quantum Computing based on Teleportation”
in SAC-QCC-01: Quantum Computing and Networking.
Hansini Vijayaraghavan, Anna Prado, Zhifan Ni, Furkan Mert Algan, Eckehard Steinbach, and Wolfgang Kellerer
“Digital Twin-Enabled Proactive Resource Management for Connected Robotics” at the Workshop on 6G Connected Robotics for Collaborative Control, Sensing, and Communication.
Alexander Wietfeld contributed to tutorial TUT-08,
“Analog Computing in Next-Gen Communication Networks: BEYOND³ Silicon, Turing, and Landauer,” together with Holger Boche, Frank Fitzek, and Pit Hofmann
Alexander Wietfeld was awarded 2nd Prize in the IEEE ComSoc 4-Minute Thesis Competition for presenting his PhD research on molecular communication.
Congratulations!!!
