IEEE ICC with 2nd price in 4MT Competition

The IEEE International Conference on Communications 2026 took place in Glasgow last week. The Chair of Communication Networks was represented by our colleagues Benedikt Baier, Hansini Vijayaraghavan, and Alexander Wietfeld.

In the exhibition area, our team supported the 6G-life project booth, together with partners from Technische Universität Dresden, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space.

Alexander Wietfeld contributed to tutorial TUT-08,
“Analog Computing in Next-Gen Communication Networks: BEYOND³ Silicon, Turing, and Landauer,” together with Holger Boche, Frank Fitzek, and Pit Hofmann

Alexander Wietfeld was awarded 2nd Prize in the IEEE ComSoc 4-Minute Thesis Competition for presenting his PhD research on molecular communication.
