The Chair of Information-oriented Control and the Chair of Automatic Control Engineering are engaged in the control of dynamic systems with applications in robotics. We are jointly seeking a dedicated IT specialist to support our computer network and assist in software development within our research projects as soon as possible. Your Tasks:
Responsibility for administration and maintenance of the IT infrastructure using various operating systems (Linux, Windows).
Supporting the team in setting up and utilizing computers and software solutions.
Customizing systems for specific research projects and requirements.
Selecting and procuring necessary hardware in consultation with the team.
Proactively advising and supporting the scientific staff in software development and maintenance.
Your Profile:
Experience in system administration and/or software development.
A completed degree in a technical field or equivalent qualification, such as vocational training as an IT specialist with relevant additional qualifications.
Good written and spoken English skills for an international research environment.
A strong interest in contributing to current research projects.
An independent, conscientious, and proactive work approach.
