This lecture teaches various topics of humanoid robotics and supplements the theoretical material with hands-on tutorials on the NAO humanoid robot platform. Aspects of robot perception and humanoid locomotion, as well as learning and action execution are covered. The lecture aims to create a holistic picture of the challenges and the state-of-the art of humanoid robotics. The various concepts are supplemented with many examples from different humanoid robotic platforms.
