Wibke Borngesser joined the ICS in 2015, and is responsible for managing third-party funded projects.

Until 2017, she was leading the dissemination and outreach activities for the EU-funded project Factory-in-a-day, and also working as project manager at the Chair for Cognitive Systems.

Before that, she was General Manager of the German DFG Cluster of Excellence Cognition for Technical Systems and thus also responsible for PR and outreach. Until 2013 she was assistant to the General Manager of the CoTeSys cluster and since 2013 she was also leading the CoTeSys Graduate Center - a thematical Graduate Center under the umbrella of the TUM Graduate School. She completed her degree in communication sciences, English philology, comparative literature at Westfällische Wilhelms-Universität, Münster.
