Curriculum Vitae
Shimin Liu joined the Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Real-time Systems of Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2025 as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Alois Knoll. Her primary research interests include robotic lifelong learning, continual learning, and reinforcement learning.
She received her B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees in Automation from Chongqing University, China, under the supervision of Prof. Xiaojie Su. During that time, she focused on computer vision, depth estimation for mobile robots.
Open Thesis
Topic 1: Diffusion-based Continual Learning for Robotic Manipulation
Topic 2: Robotic Continual Learning with Generative Replay for Long-horizon Tasks
In addition to these topics, we also offer other related fundamental research and platform development projects. If you are interested in robotic continual learning, please feel free to contact me.
