Andrea Giusti, M.Sc.

Andrea Giusti is currently an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) involved in the EC FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network "Sustainable Manufacturing through Advanced Robotics Training in Europe (http://smart-e-mariecurie.eu/).

Andrea graduated with a B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering in 2010 and with a M.Sc. in Mechatronic Engineering summa cum laude in 2013 both from the University of Trento, Italy. Andrea’s industrial experience include working as a Project Engineer for Whirlpool R&D (Cassinetta, Italy) with activities in the area of system modelling, identification and control. He developed his Master’s thesis within the mission LISA Pathfinder at EADS Astrium/Airbus Defense and Space (Friedrichshafen, Germany).

Andrea’s research interests include robotics, design of control systems, system modelling and identification. His activity is focused on the control design of compliant and reconfigurable modular robots.
